What is the Hope Program?

The Hope Program helps summer camps strengthen emergency preparedness and build safer, more resilient environments for children. Through the program, camps receive access to practical preparedness tools, training, technical assistance, and peer learning focused on hazards such as severe weather, flooding, medical emergencies, evacuation, reunification, communications, and security.

The program offers two pathways: a free Emergency Preparedness Learning Collaborative open to summer camps across the United States, and competitive Hope Grant funding for eligible Texas-based camps, with funding of up to $5,000 through Tier 1 or up to $15,000 through Tier 2.
